Your knife and fork are killing planet earth, we are eating our world to death and are causing many of the worlds current major environmental issues. We are the cause, now we must become the cure.
One of the largest industries in the world is the current leading cause of deforestation, species extinction, global warming, water depletion and ocean ‘dead zones’, yet no one is talking about it! Yet despite little coverage of this topic on mainstream media and news outlets, this industry is contributing each ane every day to the destruction and is helping in killing planet earth.
That being said, it is wrong to point the finger and place the blame wholly on the broad shoulders of the meat and dairy industry. Us human beings who purchase and consume these products are equally if not more responsible for the cause of the destruction and impact that eating these products have on Earth.
The meat and dairy industry is simply meeting the demand that we put on them. You could argue, that it is us, human beings, who is the major problem in all this.
With every mouthful of this particular product which sells all around the world on a daily basis, is slowly inching earth and humanity closer and closer to the total destruction of our planet.
An article in The Guardian ‘Avoiding meat and dairy is the single biggest way to reduce your impact on Earth’ is based on the results from the most comprehensive analysis to date conducted by scientists of the damage farming does to the planet.
This is a shocking subject which has had little exposure to how much of an impact it is having. We are eating our world to death to a point where if humanity continues on this path, we will have been the main cause for Earths and humanities demise.
COWSPIRACY: The Sustainability Secret, is a groundbreaking feature-length environmental documentary following intrepid filmmakers, Kip Anderson and Keegan Kuhn as they uncover one of the most destructive industries facing our planet today, and investigates why the world’s leading environmental organisations are too afraid to talk about it.
